Since 2011, Chris has been dedicated to helping men reclaim their power, purpose, and emotional freedom. His journey into Men’s Work began under the guidance of Owen Marcus, founder of the Sandpoint Men’s Group and MELD, where he experienced the life-changing impact of authentic connection. In a space where masks were dropped and small talk was left behind, Chris found belonging, healing, and a deeper sense of self.
Over the past decade, Chris has participated in and facilitated hundreds of Men's Groups across the country. He has helped launch new communities, led transformational weekend intensives, and guided countless men in facing their fears and living more aligned lives.
Chris specializes in somatic emotional release—helping men uncover and move through emotional roadblocks stored in the body. His work empowers men to access their full emotional range, deepen their relationships, and take courageous action toward the life they truly want.
Chris continues to stand as a grounded and compassionate presence in the world of Men’s Work, devoted to building strong, supportive tribes where men can grow, heal, and thrive together.

Yoga came into my life in 2009 when a friend introduced me to “a good workout.” It was a 90 minute hot yoga class that laid me out flat and left me in a puddle of my own spit, sweat, and tears. At first yoga was a physical practice that eventually cleared space for an integrated body and mind. Once I began to break down layers of conditioning I became a seeker, a student. I took my first yoga teacher training in 2016-17 and began teaching at a local studio in Spokane.
TT 200 hours 2016 – Hatha, 100 Tantra/ Ashtanga, PTSD/ Trauma based teaching, Reiki 1 & 2, 50 hours advanced Tantra Hatha, texts such as the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. The practice and study of yoga led me into years of volunteer service with multiple veteran organizations and in 2019 my wife Kolbie and I opened a yoga/meditation studio in our home town. Through service, many doors have been opened, liberated from self destruction. Working with Roger Vielle as my mentor I have learned about and participated in many sweat lodge ceremonies during retreats for veterans and civilians. Being welcomed into the spiritual team for Veterans Community Response has allowed me to integrate my journey of yoga, both of the mind and body, with the mission of facilitating healing through the inipi, sweat ceremony. Central to this practice is the significance of the breath of life, which keeps us grounded and mindful during these ceremonies. Beyond these retreats, I've actively participated in community service roles, engaging with diverse community service projects. These experiences have been enriching, surrounded by individuals committed to positive change. I'm eager and prepared to impart these insights and experiences with you.
